What this tool does
Overlay kinematics from two biomex.studio session JSON files on the same chart — for pre/post intervention, left vs right limb, or athlete-to-athlete comparison. Everything runs locally in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
Step by step
- Load two session JSON files exported from Analyse (Tools > Export > Session JSON) into slots A and B.
- Select an annotation to compare from each session. Annotations need at least 2 tracked frames.
- Switch view between Position, Velocity, and Acceleration.
- Toggle Align to frame 0 to align both series to their start rather than their original timestamps.
- Read the outputs: the overlay chart, the optional difference trace (Session A minus B), and the metrics table comparing mean, SD, peak, and ROM.
Tips
- Calibration is applied if it was set in the original session — if not calibrated, values are in pixels.
- The difference trace (orange dashed) shows Session A minus Session B at each time point.
